Kid’s Global Grabs Series: Handheld Eats from Italy

Pack your culinary passport and get ready to explore! In this fun, hands-on class, kids will learn how handheld foods are enjoyed around the world—starting with Italy’s favorite portable bite: the calzone. Young chefs will mix and roll dough, choose tasty fillings, fold their calzones into perfect pockets, and bake them to golden deliciousness. We will even make our own ranch dressing for dipping! We will then prepare a fresh salad to enjoy with our calzones. It’s a delicious way to spark curiosity, build kitchen confidence, and taste global flavors one handheld treat at a time!

This class is during ASD spring break. Kid classes are for participants ages 8 - 17 years of age.
